DK Connect – a part of the Danish Agency for Digital Government

You are about to log in to the Danish DK Connect service with your eID (electronic identification) from another EU/EEA country.

You can connect your non-Danish eID to your Danish Civil Registration number (CPR number), which will ease the future usage of Danish public self-services.

You only need to request this connection once.

What is in it for you?

By connecting your eID to your CPR-number, your future cross-border electronic transactions will be much easier and more secure. You will save time when applying for your holiday allowance, pension, or other social benefits that you are entitled to.

What are the next steps?

  • Click ‘Log in’ below. You will be redirected to a site where you have to choose the country of your eID. This will take you to your national eID log in page.
  • Login with your national eID.
  • After logging in with your non-Danish eID you will be asked to input your Danish civil registration number (CPR) and your email address.

If the data from your eID can be matched automatically, you will see a success message on your screen and receive a receipt via email. In most cases, you will then be redirected to the self-service you were attempting to access.

If your data cannot be matched automatically, you can click continue, and either:

  • Log in with your Danish eID (MitID), or
  • Proceed to manual application form
